How I work…

My approach is slow and relational.

We’re not trying to force change.
We’re creating the conditions for something to shift on its own.

I draw from:

  • somatic awareness (working with the body and nervous system)

  • mindfulness and attention practices (including gentle guided visualizations)

  • deep listening and conversation

  • guided reflection (including journaling or simple creative exploration)

  • nature-based support

At times, sessions may also include optional elements like sound meditation, or supportive touch (always with clear consent), when it feels helpful.

This isn’t about “fixing” yourself.

It’s about coming back into contact with your own experience, and allowing something to unfold from there.

There’s nothing to get right.

Just space to pause, breathe, and begin to feel the ground again.

About me

I’m Soren.

I’m a counselor and coach working with people moving through burnout, transition, grief, and relationship challenges.

Before this, I spent more than a decade working in mental health, supporting people through crisis, trauma, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and major life transitions.

Over time, I began to feel the limits of working only inside traditional systems.

It was slowing down and spending time outside that really helped me find the ground again…letting my system settle in contact with the world around me.

Now, my work takes place both in conversation and out in the world…where the body can reconnect in relationship with its environment.
